Voting Rights Group: “Josh Boschee is one of North Dakota’s strongest advocates for voting rights and he’ll be an outstanding secretary of state”
(FARGO, ND) — Today, Democratic-NPL Secretary of State Candidate Rep. Josh Boschee received the endorsement of Let America Vote, a national organization dedicated to protecting voting rights across America.
“Josh Boschee is one of North Dakota’s strongest advocates for voting rights and he’ll be an outstanding secretary of state,” Let America Vote President Jason Kander said. “Josh believes in removing barriers to the ballot box and ensuring that every eligible voter is heard on Election Day. Let America Vote is proud to endorse Josh Boschee as North Dakota’s next secretary of state.”
"I am honored to receive Let America Vote's endorsement in my campaign,” said Joshua Boschee, Democratic-NPL candidate for Secretary of State. “The work that their team is doing to ensure that every American's freedom to vote is protected and secured is integral to this year's election. It is estimated that less than 50 percent of eligible North Dakotans will cast a ballot in this November's election, and I believe we can do better. I am proud to stand with Let America Vote to encourage every eligible North Dakotan to vote this year. Our fundamental right to vote is the bedrock of our democracy.”
Let America Vote launched in February 2017 to fight back against proposals across the country that make it harder for eligible voters to exercise their constitutional right to cast a ballot. Whether it’s extreme identification requirements, questionable purges of voter rolls, voter intimidation, new and extreme voter registration processes, or anything that makes voting harder, Let America Vote will be there to lead the way against it. Its president is Jason Kander, the former Missouri Secretary of State.
